Coordination Commission Concludes First Visit to Riyadh Ahead of Islamic Solidarity Games 2025

The Coordination Commission (CoCom) has concluded its first visit to Riyadh as part of the preparations for the Islamic Solidarity Games 2025, held on 28–29 April 2025.

The visit brought together CoCom members and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for two days of meetings, venue tours, and collaborative discussions.

Throughout the two-day visit, the program included functional area presentations, operational planning discussions, and comprehensive tours of key sports venues across Riyadh.

Commission members reviewed the ongoing preparations and operational setups and shared their expertise to support venue readiness, helping to ensure an outstanding experience for athletes and spectators.

The visit concluded on a positive note, with the Commission recognizing the significant progress achieved so far and reinforcing the strong collaboration between the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA) and the LOC toward delivering an exceptional edition of the Games.

Preparations for the Islamic Solidarity Games 2025 remain firmly on track, with continued efforts focused on delivering a successful and memorable event. The Games will take place from 7 to 21 November 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, bringing together around 3,500 athletes from ISSA member countries to compete across 19 sports and 3 para-sports disciplines — a true celebration of sport, solidarity, and excellence.
